Here and ready for ACTION

Hey I am back, and ready for Action! Not really sure just where I have been, except full of discouragment! You know the world is so full of stuff, and more stuff that will completely take your focuse off of JESUS CHRIST! My last post was early part of SEPT. that is poor, I am so sorry. Please take the time to read even in the midst of the crossroad that your in! I was thinking how fall is such a beautiful time of the year. Leaves change color and the temp dropps, and its like everything is at a Crossroad facing change! Our lives are a lot like nature when fall arrives, we face change. We face obstacles, we face trials, we face at times the deepest and most roughest waters, we come face to face with LIFE, and Life is tough, and it really does not care how it hits or even how hard it hits you, we face ups & downs, we face security and we face challenges like climbing a mountain, it's steep, it's rough, it may be even cold. But the question when life hits us head on, how do we respond? God calls us to respond by falling on our knees, and into a time of just calling on Jesus and then waiting! Easy? NO! BUT moving with power? YES! Remember this as I am, GOD IS FOR YOU, NOT AGAINST YOU! The Love of God is so deep, so wide, it is so GREAT! I Love Jesus! Have a great day!

Teach me to PRAY!

Matthew 18:1-6, says, "At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? He called a little child and had him stand among them. And He said: I tell you the truth, unless YOU CHANGE and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea." I believe that the most powerful words ever spoken are the words of God, and the words of children. My oldest daughter Kailey, is now wanting to lead the prayer when we set at the table as a family to eat. Her prayer goes something like this, "Jesus, Teach me to Pray, and help the food to pray." I am not really sure where teaching the food to pray came in, but any how our food is learning to pray. I know that sounds funny in at least the food part, but the reality is how simple yet powerful that truly is. I think that once we become adults we know it all, we know how to pray, we know how to direct others, we know what to do and what not to do! At least we think we do! I don't think we know as much as we think we do. I wonder what would happen if we came before the living God with such a humble heart as my daughter to say, Jesus teach me to Pray. I don't have it all down, I don't know what I am doing, I don't and I can't without you Jesus. You see, I believe and I am convinced that the child like heart is truly what Jesus is looking for, not our all knowing let me show you attitude. My prayer today is Jesus simply teach me to pray, teach me to lean not in my own understanding, but in all my ways to acknowledge you and you will direct my path. My prayer today is Jesus please teach ME, not the other guy, but me. HELP ME TODAY JESUS! What is the simple cry of your heart sound like?

What IF?

What IF? What IF what? Have you ever wondered IF something? Like can you, will you, are you going to? I believe that the primary question really is IF! Over and over and over again we see where the bible and Jesus use the word IF when it comes to scripture and promises from God being fulfilled. It primarily rests upon us, IF we are willing to, IF we are going to, IF we even care to follow & obey. I wonder how many times the little IF shows up in our day to day lives, and beyond that I wonder how many times we either choose to ignore it, and it that bypass something really GREAT? IF? In 2 Chronicles 7:14, it says, "IF my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will forgive their sins and will heal their land." That scripture hinges on IF. IF we the CHURCH, IF we who have called by HIS Name, IF??? I have to confess that little word IF I believe can be our greatest hangup, or our greatest success! But to often I allow it to STOP me! WHY? Because I get in the way of what and where Jesus is wanting to go! You see God is making it about us, It's all about Jesus, IF we choose for it to be all about JESUS! You see, What IF, You know that Dream you have, that Passion you have deep in your heart, WHAT IF? You took God at HIS word and you put the IF to work, and you Fell on your knees, and you turned, turning to GOD? Well, the reality is you and I would see growth in our lives, we would see the church grow like never before, we would see GOD break through walls like never before seen! BUT IF stands in middle. What will you do with the (WHAT IF) today? Hey Together lets dare to take GOD at HIS word and trust that HIS Ways are truly better and greater than ours! Have a blessed DAY!

Stepping it up

Have you ever came to the point in your life where you see your dream in front of you so close that you begin to even taste it? Well, that's where I am, the Dream that over 10 yrs ago, God placed in my heart to start a church, is so close to being reality that I am beginning to taste the dream! Excitement does not really express it to the full of how I feel, maybe explosive excitement! You see God not only gave me a dream of starting a church, but He gave me a wonderful wife who shares with me the dream, the dream of building the kingdom, by evangelizing to the church, and the lost. This week we are starting a bible study, called Crossroads Bible study. Why crossroads, well, all of us are at certain crossroads in our lives. All of us who call our selves Christian make a decision every day to follow, dying to ourselves and following the living God, as He leads, and wherever He leads! We are so excited about the bible study, please pray for us as we "Step it UP" and begin this process! In Proverbs 10:22 it says, "The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and He adds no trouble to it." Well, I Love Jesus, and no matter rain or shine, I am determined to live for the KING! As I have been challenged to "Step it UP" I want to encourage you wherever you are in your life to "Step it UP." Gods plans for our lives are so greater than we could even begin to imagine! Well, I am out, have a great day in Christ! See Ya!

The Creator

"In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1 We serve an AWESOME GOD. To Think that the Living God of the universe could create such beauty is amazing, but to realize that the creator of all we see, and then some even beyond what we can't even see or imagine, knows me not only by name, not only does He know how many hairs are on my head, but He desires a relationship with me! I stand in awe of Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today and forevermore! Some think we just big banged our way here. Come on, think about it, just banged our way here? I don't think so! The bible says that when the earth was dark, formless, and empty. The living God spoke and only by His word was it created! I am so thankful that God created all of this for us! Well, that is a sermon! I love Jesus, See ya later.

Well, not sure really where to begin, it seems like forever since I have blogged, working 12 hrs. seems to cut out some of my time for blogging. But I am here and ready. Work this week was interesting, I was working for the most part in the area of the glass factory called the cold end. Any how we were hand packing a glass called TCO, that they use for solar panels in China, it cost around $40,000 for 277 sheets of glass or better known as lites. Lots of money for glass! Any how the first day was rough, I have been working with a group of guys that are a little on the rough and rough side, but any how I kept working even though getting yelled at seemed to be the excitement of the day. Well, Thursday came, and I Had a NEW change of mind to how I was going to work. I decided that if I am going to work than I might as well give them something to yell about, In a Christ like way! So I started sharing Jesus with the guys I was working with. Jesus gave me boldness to share Him, to come straight out with the gospel message and to allow Christ to be uplifted at work. You know I left the job that day feeling really good about my walk and my witness for JESUS! That truly is my hearts cry, to DAILY shine Jesus no matter where I am or what I am doing! Life is hard, but God is so FAITHFUL! Sometimes you just want to punch some of the guys I work with, but I think would Jesus smack them, or love them? Well, You know what? Everyday I have to choose to love guys that don't know God and are not living for God and my hope is that no matter what crossroad of life they may be it, God has placed me in the crossroad that runs right into the life of these men. So with everything I have I want to influence them in a Jesus Way all the way! Well, that all I have, see ya!

Looking beyond...

Well, my week of working nights has finally come to a close. My body is extremely worn out and is ready for some needed rest. This has been one of those weeks where I seemed to just kind of come to a stop and wonder how can I get out the financial pinch that I am in. Let me just say that stop signs at intersections are placed for only a temporary stop, but not to STOP you from reaching your destination. When life hits us we tend to stop and ponder on it far more than what God ever intended. Jesus said, Come unto to me all you who are weary and I will give you rest. Jesus also said to cast ALL your anxiety on upon Him because He cares for you! Carly my loving but very patient wife, said to me, GET YOUR CHIN UP! You know sometimes getting the chin up is tough, but for us who call ourselves Christians, then it is a must. If not we find ourselves like Peter possibly walking on water, as Peter did, but taking our eyes off of who really matters and focusing on life, and then we start to sink. I must confess I have been in the sink mode this week. But thanks be to Jesus Christ, I don't have to carry this anxiety this stress, all I have to do is give it over to Jesus, who is able to do more than I could ever ask or even began to imagine. I believe that Jesus is calling us to look beyond our current situations, and our current frustrations, and look beyond, meaning look deep into His heart! I love Jesus, & I want to say that it is time for me to look beyond where I am, and look fully into the grace of Jesus Christ! Life is not about me anyhow but Jesus... Believe in the Right NOW! Living For Jesus...

Walking down the road of life...

What a blessing it is to follow and live daily for Jesus Christ! I just got home from work a couple hours ago with Kailey my oldest daughter reminding me that until I have showered and removed the stinch of work, I STINK! That made me think of life. You know sometimes life stinks, no matter how you wake up, and no matter what you face sometimes the truth is life stinks! At least Life stinks until its cleaned from the stinch of what ever is making it stink. I know that does not really make a lot of since except tonight at work, I got to talking to one of several of the men I work with who is not a believer yet whose life stinks with one problem after another. Problem #1 his dad has been told 30 days ago that he only has 90 days to live. Problem #2 his daughter not only has 4 brain tumors, but her cancer has returned, and they do not have the money to medically get the treatments that are needed, and she is only 28 yrs, old. I would have to say life in that situation would really stink even though James says to thankful for the valley's. Its kind of hard to give thanks when your dad is dying, and so is your daughter. More than ever in my life I believe that People Need the Lord! Walking down the road of life is not always simple or a piece of cake, but If we place our trust and our lives in Jesus Christ, remaning on his team it will get better, its when we take our eyes off the master that like Peter we began to drowned! I want to live for Jesus, pressing on in Christ, down the path He has called me too. I saw a poster at work that said, "Believe in the right NOW!" Life is tough, but we serve a God who remains faithful. Well, its time for me to get some shut eye before I start my next 12 hours. Good night.

Life is Good

Well, its 10:00 p.m. my 2 girls are in bed and the house is quiet. My day started off by getting up early to the yelling of Kailey & Lauryn wanting some milk to drink. One of my favorite things to do is wake up before the sun, and watch Barney! Well, not really but I sure love spending every moment I can with those 2 special girls. They both have a way of captivating my heart everyday, truly reminding me of how good life really is and just how good I truly have it! Not only do I have the worlds best kids, but I also have a Proverbs 31 wife, whom God has truly blessed me with! After watching Barney I got the girls dressed and we went outside play. About 9:00 A.M. My loving wife haulers out the door at me to let me know I missed the 7:30 A.M. men's prayer breakfast, which means I have a friend who is wondering where I am because I invited him to go and well, I forgot to go! Well, I took off into the house, took a quick shower, and rushed out the door the meet with my friend, praying he would forgive me. Well, he did forgive me and we had a great time together for a couple hours! I then came home to spend the rest of my day with my favorite people, my family! Life really is good, you see I woke up, I was able to spend some time outside in the beautiful Kansas weather, and then I was able to spend time playing and laughing with those who I love so much. Daily I am convinced that Life is hard, and Life has difficult roads, but because of Jesus Christ, Life is Good. Well, This is my first blog post and I am finished. Remember this Life is Good!
